Theory Programs
The crane training school features a strong grounding in theory related to power-line safety, regulations, inspection and site hazards involved in crane operation. Trainees will gain understanding of hardware applications, load charts and rigging. Quizzes and direct feedback during the course would help people training solidify their knowledge.
Theory course topics: Introduction to crane certification process; safety fundamentals for crane operators; rigging knowledge; crane operation knowledge; crane rigging charts; communications knowledge; load chart knowledge; crane service and maintenance and crane set-up and pre-trip inspections.
Practical Programs
The practical training portion of the crane training school emphasizes hands-on learning. This section of the course focuses on the identification and terminology of crane components. Trainees would have the opportunity to practice skills considered necessary for crane operating, signaling and rigging.
